A delicacy around the world, Bottarga (whole mullet roe) is a typical product of Sardinia. It is obtained by salting and drying the mullet eggs. Skilled hands process bottarga with Sardinian sea salt. Bottarga is wonderful grated over any starch, vegetables, grains, and more. It is also delicious sliced paper thin and enjoyed with a dash of fresh lemon or soy sauce.
